Parking Kitty is Portland’s offical mobile parking app, allowing users to manage their parking experience directly from their phones without needing to find a parking meter or carry coins.

GOAL

This app redesign aimed to address three existing user problems and create a smoother, faster, and more intuitive parking experience.

PROBLEMS (Feb 2022)

1) great functions being placed in unnoticeable places;
2) order process that separates each piece of order information into individual steps;
3) meaningless info button.

SOLUTIONS

Relocate the function tab to Home Screen as a button.
Combine info selections into a single page, with options by the drop-down button.
Info button with helpful information.
